What we did
Since 2012, LiveWorkWell has run 15 six-week Mindful Advantage programmes at Publicis Media, the world’s third largest advertising agency, as part of the in-house development programme. The courses are always oversubscribed. Managers have also been trained to lead their teams effectively, and several leaders have received one-to-one coaching. The brief? To help them find their off switch.
The project was shortlisted for the 2013 HR Excellence Awards and was the subject of a chapter in the book Mindfulness in the Workplace. Publicis, formerly known as Starcom Mediavest Group, now calls mindfulness ‘an important part of our DNA in supporting the emotional wellbeing of our people’.
