The mindfulness body scan

In this 17-minute attention exercise, LiveWorkWell’s Susan Peacock focuses on different parts of the body. We notice what each part feels like, without trying to change anything. So often emotions are stored in the body before we are even aware of them – we hunch over when we feel overwhelmed, while lightness signals excitement. In becoming more aware, we are better able to step out of autopilot and engage with the present moment.
